About the Artist
Imogen Richards is an Artist/Maker based in Birmingham. Her visual language developed through her painting education at Edinburgh College of Art and a Masters Degree in Ceramics at Staffordshire University. She creates romantic, abstract, and functional work, experimenting with intuitive paintings on and with clay, drawing inspiration from the theatricality of nature and surrealist animation.
